A very large pair of Silver Pheasants. These are hand cast and are incredibly accurate models. The attention to detail is quite wonderful and each detail has been painstakingly chased by hand. The birds have been hand cast in various parts and have been assembled by a silversmith, had the details applied by a chaser, and finally they have been hand polished. These pheasants, like all of our other models are made from solid silver. Some of our competitors sell inferior quality models which are electro formed - although these carry a hallmark they are filled with resin to enhance the weight. The Pheasants are solid silver and are incredibly heavy weighing almost 2kg. Each bird has been Hallmarked at the Sheffield Assay Office and this certifies that the metal used conforms to one of the legal standards of fineness or purity.
