The Silver Room will shortly be offering a collection of Sterling Silver gifts to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. A special Diamond Jubilee hallmark has been commissioned to help celebrate this unique event, and it is only the 6th commemorative mark since the incorporation of hallmarking in 1327. The hallmark shows a young Queen Elizabeth wearing an oversized crown in a Diamond shaped surround. This special range of silver will be running from December 2011 and throughout 2012, and each piece will be struck with the Diamond Jubilee hallmark, which is almost certain to be a collectors item in the future. Our Diamond Jubilee Hallmark collection will include Silver Bookmarks, Silver Boxes, Silver Letter Openers, Silver Paper Knives, and, Silver Wine Coasters.
