Casting
Casting is an ancient method which involves pouring liquid metal into a mold which is hollow. The cooled casting is then taken from the mold which contains the desired shape. The casting is then hand chased which gives a piece its intricate detail. Casting is often used to make intricate pieces that would be difficult and often uneconomical to produce by other methods.
All of our models are hand cast and hand chased. They are made from solid silver. Some manufacturers fill the molds with resin to make them feel heavy. But the weight of our models is all silver and no resin.
